of course the f430 is a great car and really cant compare a 200k exotic car to a 80k everyday sports car....apples and oranges.....i havent driven a an f430, but i did own a 360 spider and the the performance of the two cars is very close with the ferrari having only a slightly more visceral feel..but its close....btw, the post compared the porsche to the f430, which is a coupe, but pictures is the 430 spider, which is better looking than the 430 coupe...so thats not fair.....also , the ferrari current has a 3 year waiting list and used 430 spiders are on the market for 300,000$$$ !!!!

I have had 911's for over 20 years and I always thought there was no substitute and then the 430 came out after I drove my neighbors I was in trouble . I went to try and buy a 430 spider but the 100K over sticker is something I can not do . I should have never driven a 430 .

did you drive the f1 tranny??? i wish ferrari wasnt pus hing this so much...i can tell you the 360 was far more fun to drive with a full manual tranny vs the f1...at least the carrera gt, which is my all time dream car, is a good old fashion manual clutch car....go porsche...and please dont try to shove the dsg tranny down our throats like ferrari has with the f1 transmission...of course ferrari charges an extra 10k for the f1 and this must be a big motivation
