Default Coupe AND Cab?

How many of you guys have both coupe and cab? I have a 05 coupe blk/blk (my third blk/blk 911 and I can't get enough) with merely 2000 miles and for some strange reason, despite the crummy onset of early winter weather, my mind is wandering onto the subject of a blk/blk cab. My coupe is a 3.6 manual and I was thinking about a 3.6 manual cab. If the 05s are being blown out (I bought my 05 for $73K from authorized dealer) am I crazy to consider a cab in anticipation of sunny weather next year?

Who has a coupe and cab (any year 911). Please post your pix!

I HAD a coupe and traded it in for a cab. I had the same thoughts as you. Loved my coupe but thought how much better it would be as a cab. Took me back to my Boxster days (circa 2001 - 2003) and the many fond memories I had of it. Talked to dealer, made very, very fair offer on my trade and got me the cab I wanted. Never looked back. If you like cabs, this is the ultimate. You won't be disappointed.

Got the Boxster for fun in the Sun, the 997 for Fun and Gun and the 955 for offroad and snow!

I'd get another model. I can't imagine owning two nearly identical cars (yawn). Opt for a 987S instead. It'll handle better than a 911 cab. However seeing that you own 3 911's, I'd not discourage you from owning another cab variant.

Personally I will be part of this group come spring. I love my 996CAB but I am ready to add another to the stable (coupe this time). My wife has become addicted to DE's as much as I and that way we can have our own car for track days as well as have 2 great cars during the week to choose from. Still haven't decided which model I will get but it will for sure be a coupe.

get a boxster s, either 987 or 986...you get that porsche sound and feel in a midengine car that handles better than a 911 cab and is much cheaper..a great compliment to a 997s or 997 or 996tt or993tt

Take it from me, we have a Standard Boxster and love it to death! The 997S will be for SPEED, the 986 is for cruising!

Second the 987-S. It's an amazing ride, and the perfect complement!
