Seatbelts are over $200. I was fortunate that a Rennlister was upgrading his seatblets and sent me one of his old buckles which I insert when I'm just driving locally. I suggest you go to a junk yard or dismantler and see if you can just buy a used buckle. The buckle Porsche uses is standard on a number of different makes. The chime cannot be unprogrammed. One of the tech people at the dealer I bought my 997 from tried to do it the day I picked up the car but when he disabled the chime the seat bag warning light stayed on and the dealer could not let the car leave the lot in that condition.

Speed, you are correct, I have seen belts on ebay as well. FYI the Porsche buckle also works in BMW's so you can transfer from car to car as they are just as annoying.

For harness racing, just buckle up the belt then sit on it.
