Yeah, I love my standard, full leather, power seats with lumbar adjustment as well.

Standard seats are great. The sport seats are uncomfortable for me. ( 6'3" )

As the sayin goes "there is an *** for every seat". I ordered the sport and the guy screwed up the order and I got the standard with the supple leather. The seat is a marked improvement over the 2000 Boxster. I have a bad back and placed some closed cell foam behind the backrest and it improved the comfort. I am pleased that I did not get the sport and think the standard are great even on the track with the std. seat belts.

Really goes to show you how subjective it is...

I'm 6'2", 240 lbs, and I love my adaptive sport seats. TONS of room for me...weird!

Also sit in the manual leather sport seats. They are lighter, cheaper and hold you in place well. Cons can't get heat or supple with them.

I'm glad that you guys seem to be indicating that both seats are equally comfortable. The only differences are the options availability and need of deeper bolsters because of track uses.

Would be cr*ppy if Porsche made us pay for basic comfort differences.

This sounds alot like fitting for ski boots. Put them on and walk around for a half hour in each before you buy. Don't buy based upon name, price,--anything but comfort.
