Yes - I've got the PTS case (aluminium) and it is fantastic. I highly recommend it as you can pack in a great deal of stuff. It always impresses everyone that sees it as well as it looks fantastic. A real quality piece of kit.

I'd get it, but would have to clear bra it for use on airlines. Freaking airlines are rough on suite cases.

I got the PTS combination case and the PTS Extention, it and it was screwed up completely by United Airlines! Dented so badly that it doesn't close! the edges are destroyed - and believe it or not this happened the day after I got it! My advice don't use it for air travel. Porsche have another range of products that are available in different shapes and sizes AND match the colour of your car. That particular range is very strong! In fact, you can STAND on the products, they bend and then bend back into shape!

Agree 100% with Porky...mine was damaged (not destroyed but the finish was damaged) in the first airline trip...if you are going to use it for airline travel...forget it.

Wow, one plane ride and it's thrashed? Plus, it looks a little hard to be crashing around in your trunk. Whadya do with it then?

Just for clarification, it is Not actually made by Porsche, it is made by Rimowa, with a Porsche badge added. You can buy the exact same stuff from Rimowa directly, for a bit less, but without the badge.

My one is in for repairs with Porsche - takes about 3 months to get it repaired! The only consolation for me was I get the 3 piece unit for USD 700.00 from a Porsche dealer in Plano, TX when I was there for business recently! And a discount of 12% on whole bunch of other gear!

Fits perfectly. It doesn't move once it's in. I only use mine for weekends away (not for airline travel) and it's in great condition.

Do you have the extention ? Also the PTS small trolley fits in the overhead so you can take it on the plane with you and all of these modules are interchanable .

Wait...why would you fly with them??? Are they A.T.A certified? I would never fly with any form of "hard case" unless it was certified for flight. If i have to fly without a hard case i use standard cheapo luggage bags.

I thought the Porsche luggage were designed as "road-cases." Long car trips, etc... Not by air however.

If I can't use it for airline travel, then its useless. Why would I but two sets of suitcases, one for air and one for non air? That's crazy.
