Default Selling my 997

After A LOT of hard thinking and talking with the wife we have decided to part with our 997 non S. Life events seem to be getting in the way of fun things these days. In any event, I have a Seal Grey 997 with colored wheel crests, standard black leather interior, Sport steering wheel in smooth leather, floor mats, bi-Xenon headlights, just had the 3m clear bra installed last week. The car has a little over 10000 miles on it now. I picked it up 1 Nov 04, all service only done by dealer.
Here are a couple of pictures of the car. I know there is not a price listed yet but I'm working on that as we speak. PM me if interested and we'll talk price.

Is it partly because of your move to Colorado later this month?

Actually it's pretty much all because of my move. If I was to stay here in FL I would not even think of selling the car.

The photos are .bmp
.jpg would look as good and load LOTS faster.
.bmp files are HUGE.

A bit of OT, but I went to FIT in 1997 as an exchange student. I liked it a lot in Melbourne. In addition, P-cars are about 30% cheaper in the US than in Sweden, so that would be one reason to go back.. Good luck anyway.

Yea Melbourne isn't all that bad. Lots of boxters here not many 911's almost no cayenne's but they did just open a Porshce dealer in town last month so maybe that will change soon.

Just an update. I am out in Colorado now with the car. Definately need to sell the car now. With the rocks and sand they put on the roads here to deal with the snow I need to get something a bit more practical. I updated my ad in the classifieds, if anyone is interested or has any questions let me know. Looks like a 4X4 is in my near future. I also just put new rears on the car last week.

Default Colorado Mtn. Roads + 997 = Nirvana !!

Take that 997 out this week- great fall weather- and enjoy a state with roads tailor made for Porsche Pleasure. Most of us here in Colorado drive our 911s from May-November and sparingly on nice winter days when the roads are clear of snow and gravel. Don't be too hasty in selling, before you've had a few mountain drives. There's nothing like a 911 on a mountain road!!

how about trading it in for a loaded Cayenne S? probably don't need to put out any money.
