I think once you have the plate it is yours forever...well kind of. I used to have a special one when I lived in NY. I returned the plate before I moved to CA and that was 10 years ago and as of last year the plate is still unavaliable.

How'd you get that image into your reply? I've tried to copy and paste from the CA DMV web site and only get the text. I can't get the California script to copy.

The best i`ve seen is P11SSY, with the screw holder carefully placed between the one`s,(pardon the pun)!!

On the way to the Jersey shore I passed a station wagon with a man and woman in front and a whole bunch of kids in the back seats. Their plate was: 7DORFS.

i used to have MEIN 912 as my personalized plate (translates from german to english: my 912) so you could do that with any model really.. IE: MEIN 997, MEIN 911 etc..

one of my favorites i saw on a 912 was NO911NV (no 911 envy). dont know how well that would work on a 997 though. maybe NONZONV (no enzo envy?)

my favorite of all time was on a vet though.. PNS NV (***** envy)
