$995 for side-markers? What the hell does this dealer charge for oil changes?
Manhattan motor cars quoted me $400 for an oil change. I replied, "um, no".

Ok.... I get the fact that the clear side markers may look better than the stock but is there something else I'm missing? Also... is it like a font license plate or tinted windows... can you get a fix it ticket? ust curious.

My dealer threw them in for free when I picked up the car. He was the one that brought it up. Install was 5 minutes.

I paid $29.95 from Suncoast and the dealer put them on for free. It only took about 10-minutes.

It's very simple to do. It will take longer than 10 min. if you have one hand as a hook.

Damn dealers are all the same. I heard a year or so ago about a local SoCal dealer showing clear sides as an dealer add-on option for $300. $995??!! - What an insult!

Just met the new GM at a local dealership a few weeks ago. As we were talking, an ugly color combo car (not a Porsche) was being moved into the showroom - I said "wow, that's ugly" - his response, "like I always say, there's a seat for every ***, and an *** for every seat." Made me feel all warm and fuzzy about this guy!

I actually stammered when he said that, at first I thought he meant the 15,000 mile service.

Don't blame the dealer, blame the person who actually pays it....or negotiates it down to $499.

Remember: "There's an *** for every seat"

Uh...I am willing to bet that this story is either, a) not true or, b) incorrect information.

My dealer said it would cost me $40.00 extra when the car arrived, but that he'd "through it in" to the deal. With $2000 off MSRP on a 2006 S Cab, that gives me $2040 off a near $100k car, what a bargain!

the dealer put them on for free. Just told him that it would be nice to have the orange ones changed out and he took care of it.
