There is a design blunder in the cabrio wind deflector. The seat cannot be moved back beyond a certain point without striking the forward support tube of the deflector, causing a wear line on the back of the seat or damaging the deflector. As the horizontal and vertical surfaces hinge on this line, modification does not appear feasible. Is an aftermarket part that actually fits available?

I just have to remember not to move the seat too much w the windstop. It's either this or Porsche make the cab seat rail differently so that you can move seat aft too much but even so you can still recline to hit the windstop. From what i know, the windstop is supposed to fold when pressured by the seat. I guess that's about the best can be done. Honestly, I don't think a product needs to be fool proof to be a good one. It does block wind well and I would rather not have Porsche put in a Boxster-like windstop that is useless just so that the driver and move seat around.
