Don't knock the gas cap - its not some cheap aluminum piece of crap - it's made of genuine plastic!

Stopped at Circle Porsche on my way home where they have a Carrera and a Carrera S in the showroom, 06 models. The emblem on the base model is the same color as the PCM faceplate (I guess that would be Titanium according to MJ) and on the S it's silver (same shade as artic). Both have a dull finish like the finish on the faceplate. No gloss nor clearcoat on this plastic piece.

Btw, the 06 models in the showroom are cars that the owners backed out of and are available for sale obviously. The S is a sharp looking Slate/black coupe and the base model is a midnight blue/sand/blue top Cab if anyone is interested. The slate looks so sharp it makes me wish I had left my order unchanged.
