I had no problem and I was 31 when I went test driving - 996/997/996TT and then finally bought the 997.

I really like the interior. All black with just aluminum dials. Very clean.

Great looking car! Looks like you got all the right options. Very unique story! Jumping from an accord to 997S, car unseen! Amazing!! Similar to my story but only better. Three and half years ago, I switched from 1988 Honda Prelude Si to Triple black 2002 986S. I am hoping to get in to......a all blk 997S, while keeping my boxster.

Enjoy your new toy!!

I have to admit that I have key envy. The 2004 TT keys are boring compared to those keys.

Funny, but the 997 is the farthest thing from a "Gansta Ride" I can possibly think of. Does this mean we'll soon be seeing pics of a pimped out, chrome-wheeled, hydraulic low-rider suspended, blinged to the max 997 with a 500W boom box?

The blasphemy! - I think I'll puke now!

You had problems. Ha, I was 27 when I bought my GT3. I ended up buying it from a dealer in Ohio. I even ordered it. I got the GM of the dealership on the phone by accident and it was a great buying expierence. I am going to buy from them again.

Black is the definitive color of choice for any G ride. I'm curious, how do those spinner wheels work? How do they keep spinning even when the car is stopped?

There's hardly any true spinner rims around here (thank goodness), I only see them on the TV and when I visit the states. They looking like silvery carnavale ferris wheels if you ask me.

My dealer was cool too... I'm 29...

I came in with my friend... Randy and Ken were nice guys accommodating to even the newbie Porsche fans! Looking back, I think they could have mistaken me for a tag-along rather than a buyer.
