Actually I would suspect that the factory running an engine at WOT on a dyno stand with 0 miles on it would be far more harmful then running it WOT after a few hundred miles.
I'm not suggesting that you redline it before 1000 miles or so. I really would like to know why PCNA specifies the 4,200 rpm limit when Porsche in the ROW says nothing about a specific RPM limit.
