Default Took the plunge and placed an order!

Well I finally placed my order for a 2006 C2S! I spec'd it out as follows:

Arctic Silver
Black Interior
Sport Design Wheels
Self Dimming Mirrors
Power Seats
Heated Seats
Bose Stereo
CD Changer
Porsche Crest In The Headrest
Color Crest Wheel Centers

Now the wait begins, however it feels really good to not only have gone ahead and placed the order but to have ordered the exact car that I want. I had been waffling on the C2 or C2S decision and considering buying from dealer stock(which is limited and never seems to have the right combination of color and options).

Congrats!! I can tell you that, in retrospect, the 4 month wait was a breeze. Yeah, right!!

Congrats! I would add PSE and Sport Shifter. Also, I think that the Sport Design Wheel looks better without the colored crest centers. Otherwise, your options are the EXACT ones I will order on my 997 S.....

I second the thicker steering wheel and sport shifter. Try them yourself.

I have driven a couple of cars with the sport shifter and liked it. But since I want to get a second car to drive in inclement weather (mainly snow, still contemplating making a go of it in the C2S as I have been able to drive an M3 and CLK55 through the winter with no problems) I need to hold the options down to the absolute must halves from my viewpoint. It is really bizarre going from buying a Porsche to trying to buy a cheap car. The deals out there on cars costing $20k or less are outrageous, it isn't that hard to find 2005 cars at 25% off sticker. And the price keeps getting lower the more you inch towards the door but you have to get past the salesman, his manager, and his managers manager before they let you leave.
