Default Classic's vs S wheels

First I tried the Carrera S wheels which my carcame with, then I installed the 19" Classic's.
I have to admit the Classic's work for me.
The Carrera S wheels are just waaaay to hard to maintain!

I think the classic is a great shape. Personally I don not care for the "S" wheels.

The S wheels look too busy for me too.

LIke them both actually, would keep both and save one for track time

Get some clear side markers ($40) and it'll look even better

I like the "S" wheels. They really aren't that hard to maintain. I've got it down to less than a minute to clean them(each) including the inside of the rim

Agree on the classic 19. They are waaaay better than the lobster forks. When optioning the car, did these cost more than the lobster forks? Ha ha l just love saying lobster forks. What was Porsche thinking?

The only other 19" I like are the Sport Design. Downside is that these will be a nightmare to clean

I STILL don't get the S wheels. I don't see what they do for the rest of the car. designwise they look aribitary or random compared to the smooth flowing lines of the 911 we love. I think they call too much attention to themselves AND they are not gorgeous looking. They're "fair" looking and yet they're in your face you look at the car overall.

Cant explain why, but the S wheels, even though they are unusual looking by themselves, somehow set off the car better than the Classic which just makes the car seem plane.

Swicthing to the classics was the right thing IMHO. I don't like the S wheels.

I like them both, but the Classics look very very generic, which the 911 shape is nowhere near. I like the S because they are unique, plus they are a bit more "huskey" and go with the new styling direction the 997 is going, instead of the more dainty Classics.

But both are very nice.

I wonder what the new SportEvo Wheels are going to look like as listed as optional for 2006 model. Have been trying to find out for ages.
