997 C2S or 996 Turbo ?
I am in the market for either a used 997 C2S or a 996 Turbo.
Is there a significant difference apart from power between the two models ?
I have both cars on the table & I am not sure which to opt for.
I have not driven either yet as the dealer is a good 100 miles away & I want to do some homework before I visit.
I am coming out of a CL 600 Bi-turbo.

Havent driven a 997 but have driven a friend's 996 TT for a few days. Its true what they say about boost being addictive. Also, I would guess that the TT could be modified easier for greater power gains, though I am sure its not cheap. I do like the look of the 997 though. Tough choice, good luck.

Will hold it's value well and when the 997 turbo is in your pricerange make the jump. I just can't get excited over wet sump engines or anything 996 based- mainly due to the the interior which isn't befitting Porsche quality. The 997 interior seems a little gadgety to me but quality wise it does look nicer IMHO.
