Anyone Priced Nav Disk Updates?

I'm not sure how long Porsche has had Nav, so perhaps there aren't any updates yet. If there are, has anyone priced them for the 911, and how often are they released?
I'm trying to compute the Nav cost of ownership to see if it is worth it for me compared to the frequency of use.
Thanks.
Michael

Hmm...Porsche has had the typical updates through the years. However, I have yet to pay a dime for nav. disk. Somehow, I have always had nice friends who are willing to share the lastest updates with me if you know what I mean. However, if you so feel compel to 'PAY FOR IT", you can buy a set for around $200.00 USD. Just call the Porsche Nav. people at 1-888-628-6277 and they will be happy to take your money for an updated set.

gr8330 - Make sure you don't pay for them, they are included. The disks are usually shipped to the dealer but that depends on where the dealer told them to send them - I got one set at home (997S) and one at the dealer (CS).

If your 997 was built prior to mid April 2005 the disc gets sent from Navteq in the mail, usually two days airfreight from Illinois ( assuming your sales rep did his job and faxed the info to Navteq at the time of sale.) If the car was built late April 2005 for after, the disc comes with the car from the factory and not from Navteq!Putting the wrong disc in will shut down the PCM( including the radio) and you will not be able to correct it until the proper disc is installed. Hope this helps!!!
