Default Rear Tire Life?

How are the rear tires holding up now on the 997 and S. I know that the older 993 would eat rear tire very quickly.... say 5000miles. I don't race other cars but I make it a point to drive as fast as the police will not allow I spend most of my time pushing the turns as much as I can safetly get away with not so much trying to hit the fastest top speed. My vette handles very well and I get about 18K from the set. Can't wait for the 997s to come in!

One of mine lasted less than 1000 miles (puncture) always the way! had to be a rear as well, not the cheaper front.

The trye that came off had very little wear though.

Not that I really abuse any of my cars, but I can't really say that I remember wheel spinning my C2S. I think the weight of the engine over the rear axel sees to that.

My tires (ps2's - 19"s) have held up well considering 3 autocrosses and some fun mn drives!

Time for new ones soon though...4k miles!

I think I may get 10 - 15K out of mine. Just spirited street here. PS2's are great tires.....

Throw in 3-4 autocrosses and driving like a bat out of hell, cuts tire life in half!
