Default Lowering the seats...

Well, if sunroof delete is not possible , then is it possible to lower the seat any for those of us who are tall/want to wear a helmet for track? It looks like the seat is already way low...

I have simliar problem and remember when This issue was raised for 996 and 986. Looking under the seats everybody agreed there was not a millimeter to spare. The verdict was that the seats' anchor points and frame had to stayed where they were (can't be modified). There was speculation that a very sharp upholstery outfit might be able to get you more room but nothing conclusive. The actual Porsche 996 seats came with an extra-cost option that involved 10 mm thinner foam padding.

Well at least you're not driving a 996. Porsche actually lowered the seats on the 997 compared to the 996.

Can't you just poke your helmet through the open sunroof?
