Default GT3

I do a track event at least once a month and have done 6 events this year in the 997, I am considering purchasing or trading for a 997 GT3. any thoughts on time frame of the new GT3. I am spoiled with the fantastic handling of the 997, will the GT3 be a bigger handful on the track. I run very quick laps now. will this be big learning curve? wouldnt mind hearing some opinions.

Is the engine of the new GT3 going to be based on the present 3.8l found in the Carrera S? It it is the case, wouldn't it be prone to RMS leaks as well? I understand that the present 996 GT3's engine is not as liable to the RMS leak.

Charleston SC Porsche has what looked to be a perfect 2004 GT3 wht/blk, with about 2500 miles on it - it might be worth looking at (good excuse for road trip) I realize its not a 997, but the "rawness" factor would probably be similar
