WOW! that's the first time I've seen this...so, both C4 and C4S are wider, and the only difference between them is in the motor...that's a departure from 996 variants. so, i guess porsche will be having a base and S version of all their 997 models, Hmmm! So, my 996 C4S is atleast a unique car in the porsche philosophy

Doesn't seem any wider than the regular 997.

1.7 inches - I wonder if the body itself is wider or simply the rear track?

No rear red reflector, I knew and said it before there was no way the back of the 997 could fit it since it woudn't match the line of the tail lights. To bad.
Still if it is wider then the regular 997 then is will look great. Though the C2 is still nice and wide. I guess we are looking at the *** of the Turbo also.

Good question. But it says wider in the rear body. Then again, a 44 mm wider track would require a wider body no?

Also it seems that both Carrera 4 and 4s are wider than the rwd models.

No rear reflector... why am I so attached to it? When I saw the 996 C4S I was blown away... it's so impressive from the back, kinda like J-Lo.

I know what you mean. When I received this brochure I was very disappointed, the lack of reflective strip and the C4S/Turbo distinctive front and rear spoilers. Everywhere I've posted (or had posted for me) the common complaint/theme has been one of disappointment. Makes you wonder what the Turbo will look like?

As for the red reflective strip on the back of the 994 4S, well I guess we who have one, scored. Good thing about the 996 C4S is that is a Turbo look alike.

Problem I see is that the front is ugly the S should have a nicer front.
With the execption of the head lights the 987 has a nicer front.

I would like to see the front like this instead of the real one below.

I think we cannot conclude anything about the turbo from these, unlike the 996 C4S the 997C4S is a variant of the C4 chassis and not the turbo's, and I think the turbo will have it's own unique chassis and look.
