Wow that pix does look fake - you should submit it to PorscheAG to have them put it in a catalog! (but if you do that, charge them $3,500 for the print)!!

Congrats - fantastic pic. Love the car, it looks just like mine, so maybe I'm a little bias. Taking your first drive down the coast with the mountains and ocean in the background is fantastic. Post some more pics when you get time.

Yeah, very nice pic, beautifully framed. And it confirms my choice of color too. Seal Grey on a 997 just looks awesome. Thanks for giving me the suggestion of where to go for my first long drive once mine comes in.

The signature on the pic suggests it was taken with a Nikon D70, is that right? Only reason I would know is that's the signature I get on mine.

Actually it's an older D100 w/17-35mm. I've played with the D70 and like it's colors better.

Thanks for all the kind words, but it's hard to take a bad picture in this area. ;-) I completely agree that it's an awesome drive and I'd highly recomend it to everyone. For those that aren't familiar with the area here are a couple more shots [hope this isn't to far off topic].

Planning another joy-ride tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get some more good pics of the new 911.

Great, thanks. Is that same as the Western US Rennlist forum or something else?
