Sorry, no pix but a friend just picked up his new 997S with that interior- very dark, almost black and VERY nice- the stitching is very tasteful. Makes my standard interior in the GT3 look a little cheap, but I'm not complaining!!
The only downside to the natural leather (which I love) is that the interior plastics are not soft-touch to match, they are black. On Natural Grey, that works, on Natural Brown, Cinnamon or other lighter colors, it doesn't.
Fabio, what country are you in again, Italy? How close is the nearest Porsche dealer? You really need to stop in at the nearest dealer no matter how far away it may happen be. You need to see these swatches up close and make your decision based on that if they don't happen to have a car equipped with what you are looking for. For you to make a decision based on photographs is to set yourself up for a major disappointment, especially when you consider the amount of money you'll be shelling out. Good luck in doing your homework.
Here's an "official" Porsche pic of natural grey interior. This one of the '04 40th Anniversary, which came standard with natural grey interior. I love it! It is black with a small hint of gray, sort of like a very dark graphite.
The difference is in the dye vs. pigment of the process.
Standard leather is "painted," the colorant used _is_ like paint. It's not translucent.
Natural leathers are dyed. Dyes are translucent. In addition to being more subtle and sumptuous, they show insect bites, scars, variants in shading etc of natural steer hides.
Just go to a furniture shop, or leather goods store and check around the various leathers, you'll notice the dyed vs. painted leathers really fast..
