Default Car Cover?

Any recommendations for a car cover? I usually go with 100% cotton just for inside the garage, but am liking the look of the OEM tight fitting silver cover. Does it really look like that when you put it on?

It looks like the one I have. Perfect material. Not the cheapest, but good quality and sitting in a nice Porsche bag.

I went with a cotton one with no logo on it. I didn't feel comfortable with advertising what was under the cover. I just use it to keep the sun off of the car when I park at work or on a trip.

I have the silver Tequipment cover. I've used it twice, and it seems a little too snug on the rear and, worst of all, it put scratches in the right rear hip of my car. Although I think its a good outdoor cover, I'd prefer something with softer fabric that would have no tendency to scratch.

Default Victoria Secret OK?

These look very nice and sexy. http://www.carnewal-europe.com/main.htm
Each one custom made to fit YOUR car.
This is what Gert says about them:

Our car covers are made by Confezzione Andrea in Italy.
They are the official supplier of Ferrari car covers.
The outside layer is a synthetic material while the inner layer is felt.

I have the Ferrari cover for my 328 and it is probably the best indoor cover in that it is very soft and yet streches. Covercraft has a Formfit line that I think is just about the same thing without the logo and is cheaper than importing from Italy [I know because I ordered my 328 cover from Ferrari before I found out about the Covercraft ones]. Both the Ferrari cover and the Covercraft Formfit line are for INDOOR use only - so it depends on why you want a cover. I use mine for storing the 328 during the winters.

good to have a lightweight cover in car at all times in case you have to park outside under a pollenating tree of something. Don't forget to bring your "california duster" (big dust mop ) for the paint. Dust car off BEFORE putting cover on. You mustn't let dirt get into the cover underneath or it will accumulate and eventually scratch.

That's why I like the 100% cotton cover, I just pop it into the washer while I wash the car, and it comes out nice and soft when I'm done cleaning the car. Infact the more you wash it the softer it seems to get.
