Don't like it but it is in keeping with the script of the other names other than Boxster. It is the name of a fast reptile which I saw on another post on the Boxster board.

I have to reserve an opinion until I see it close up. The name? Plenty of car names are nonsense - this one is no worse / no better than any. I do wonder about the pricing as so many others have. Maybe they will reduce the cost of the Boxter series?

This is exactly why some of he manufacturers don't step into names for the cars. So far, I didn' care too much about the name or number of the car.

The guy who selected this name was sitting on an Island during a business break I guess :-))

How could 79% of the people not like it already? What happened to "you never judge a book by it's cover" or in this case, the name. I'm sure it will be one of the best driving Porsches to date. Handling wise i'm sure it will be up there with the top cars at the world (look at the new Boxster S) and styling wise it could be worse. We don't even know what the real thing looks like yet. Let's keep those minds open!
