Video really gets your heart thumping. Driver is Joachem Stuck. If I'm not mistaken he has driven for Porsche and was a LeMans winner.

 

Yes that would be Hans Stuck.
The car is the BMW M3 GTR
And BTW for 2004 Hans takes his third win in the 24 Hour Race at the Nürburgring following his victories in 1970 and 1998.
He is one of the Best Drivers in the world and has more laps at the Ring than any other driver

 

Its amazing how real my xbox is as I have that track memorized and it looks exactly the same as when i drive it on Project Gotham II....

Even the land marks and trees look the exact same!!!

 

Damn, Hans passed some of those drivers like they were heading to a bed and breakfast for a peaceful weekend.

 

The video is from a VLN race with more than 180 cars on the start grid in several different classes so it is no strange thing that some cars are faster than other even though Stück is one of the best Nürburgring drivers. Regarding who has the most laps on the Ring I am pretty certain that Sabine Schmitz has that record.

 

If you watch carefully his shifting is simply amazing!!! Rapid fire downshifts...once 5-4-3-2. Something all of us aspire for...WOW!!!

 

WOW!! Damn, that is a pleasure to watch. The shot where he overtakes a mini and the mini uses it turn signal is flippin' hilarous!
