Hobbies: Gardening, raising tropical fruit trees (lychees, longans, etc), reading, touristing, assembling and debuging computers, cooking, and generally hanging out.

BS in Mechanical Engineering but been in IT sales to DOD for 25 years.
Aviation...been flying since I was 15 but lost medical(Big C). Waiting to get it back.
Love to fly everything from Beechjets to Luscombes. Had 3 rescue dogs. Travel a ton for work..riding in the back on United mostly.

FORMER OCCUPATION: Surveying, Mapping & Satellite Geophysics, USAF, (10 years) and DOD, (27 years). Spent a good part of my career working in remote parts of the world including the jungles of South America, Sahara Desert in Africa and far above the Arctic Circle.
SOME MEMORABLE MOMENTS: Driving my 1959 Corvette from Germany to Monte Carlo to watch the Monte Carlo Grand Prix in 1963. Also watching the races at the Nurburgring, in the early ‘60’s. Having my ¾ ton weapons carrier blown up in front of my living quarters in Quito, Ecuador in 1967. Bringing the first American survey team into Diego Garcia Island in 1968. Getting chased out of camp by polar bears in northern Spitzbergen in 1973.

INTERESTS: Building and flying my own aircraft, (two of them). Got my private pilot’s license at age 60. Still flying regularly. Many other hobbies and interests. Married in the ‘70’s for a few years.
