Default What "Extras" Can Your Porsche Dealer Throw In?

Trying to negotiate with a dealer, and realize while they may have a backstop on price, they may be able to throw in "extras" to sweeten the deal. Curious to know that these might be. Please include large and small $ amounts. Some thoughts:

- Extended warranty
- Car Cover
- Key chain(s)
- Floor mats??

Thx.

Perhaps a Varsity Jacket,
keep in mind that the cost of the extra stuff all comes out of your salespersons pocket, not the dealers.

Ask for PDE!!!

Just a firm price that they can't discount beyond.

BTW, I realize I'm being a little petty here, so I want to apologize in advance. But my experience to date has made me realize that it is generally a zero-sum game of "screw or be screwed," and more often than not, I'm on the receiving end of the stick. Nice to see the tables turned for once, and I angling to get all I can.

Actually, I remember when my saleslady raided the dealer's goodie closet to give me keychains, a calendar, baseball cap and the order form for that laminated Cert. of Ownership given to me for free, she had to tell the cashier to charge it to her account.

When I picked up my car I asked the manager (jokingly) if shirts were part of the deal when you pay this much for a car and he said, "of course, pick out whatever you want". So the wife and I both got nice shirts, they also threw in a quart of oil, a lanyard, keychain, and another dress shirt for my wife. Manager said they were having the best month they had ever had and I picked mine up on the last day. Guess it was just good timing. But still really nice of them.

Wheel caps with color crest.

Agreed about the floor mats... I'd be inclined to delete them and buy the higher-quality Lloyd's instead.

PDE would be an awesome bonus... My dealer includes one day of PDE with purchase (but then, PDE is located about five miles away ).

Brumos in Florida offers the full PDE course with purchase (plus you get delivery from Hurley Haywood).
