The interesting things is that the Turbo S in Billy Bob's post above

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...4526892177&rd=1

has the GT Silver painted wheels that come on the 996 Turbo S models. Check it out for a close-up comparison of the different colors.

Personally, Artic Silver is too light for me (though it looks fantastic at night), GT Silver has more depth, but I can't see the $3k cost being worth it. I prefer Seal or Slate Grey if you gotta have a low-key 997...or course mine will be guards red!

I was admiring GT silver the other day on this 997 web forum and came across a close up of GT Silver which was quite impressive. I believe it was MRBONUS's car, but can't seem to find the post again. Would recommend you look for it because it will be worth it.

FWIW, I would hold out the five months for GT silver... small price to wait in the grand scheme of things.

p.s. I have actually thought about buying a silver 993 and having it re-painted GT Silver (very dumb I know, but I think the color is that good)
