I too have been debating the factory NAV as I have a Garmin street pilot that is excellent, but it sure looks funny to have that big display creen and no nav, good sense will probably win out and I 'll stick with the Garmin.

That's their main marketing tool, have that big color display that doesn't really do anything without the NAV. I do love mine, paid a fortune for it, but I still love it.

I looked at the install procedure and its not that bad. install antenna, install navmmodule, and the fiber optic. 3 elictrical wires need to be tapped from the cd changer, and then have the dealerr turn it on for you. it should be no more then 1/2 hr for that. I already talked to my mechanic. I am thinking of ordering the kit
