Hmmm, just what I expected- a FLAMER message... Get off my high horse (my Porsche elitest attitude) and finally keep your mouth shut about the problems with the cars aka "refrain from the attitude shown in your above posting".
Yea, I really am encouraged by that statement to remain loyal to this company. I going to war with SKIP. Porsche can count on my making "MY ATTITUDE" a part of my opinion about how the company that we have been loyal enthusiast to for so long has begun to burn its ties to those that have been loyal to the marque. From the unsolved "RMS problem" to the "SYSTEM FAULT- Return to Workshop" console warning.
It just like I though Porsche is building cars for itself and really careless about how the consumer is suffering out here in the real world and the "I design them not build them" also know as- 'that's not my job, and I am not rocking the boat with my employer to discuss matters that could impact future sales- good or bad'.
I used to rank Porsche and its thinking as one of my top five companies on this planet I ranked it UP ther with the Geneeral Electric, Standard Oil, and EMC as a company that stands behind its product and its customers...needless to say- "Porsche has just moved to the bottom of my stack".
Impressive response Stef...Thanks!

I started this thread with a very simple question about whether the 996 hardtop will fit a 997 cabriolet. Thankfully, Stef was able to give me a definitive answer which has been quite helpful as I am just about to place an order for a 997S cab. I don't understand why he has to be subjected to such a personal attack on a matter which is not even the subject of this thread.
Stef, thanks for your help and just ignore some of these idiots.

Thank again for bringing that to my (our) attention.
