I carry my second plate under the floor mat on the front passenger side. If I get pulled over I intend to place on dash. I would then beg for leniency and use the no pre-drilled holes argument.

All good feed back thank you. I have noticed that the cops in CT seem to be quite nice and fairly lax provided they arent around on Sunday morning when you are tearing up the back roads just after 7:00
