Good deal on new 997
I would not usually waste time posting ebay listings but here is a nice new 997 being sold by a Porsche dealer with no reserve, price currently at $69k for a $79k car. Maybe this works for somebody here.

Interesting. I have been following the auction on and off since the car was initially listed. I would have initially argued that the current price is low, but that it would go up towards the remaining hours of the auction, as the "watchers" jumped in, trying to secure a deal. But, now with only 4 hours left, there is still a 10K discount to MSRP.
I'm in the market for an "S" or I would surely bid on this. Good luck, and hope that the ultimte winner gets a good discount to list.

Alan,
I had bene following the auction as well, as just had a chance to check where it finished. I agree -- somebody got a great deal on this vehicle!! Almost 9% off list for a practically brand new car. A dealer is offering a similar 10% off a $99K Launch Edition car. But that vehicle has over 1,200 miles on it, and was used not only as a consumer demo by virtue of the fact that it is a Launch Edition car, but also as a Dealer Demo.
