Bose
Full Leather
PASM
Sport Chrono
Adaptive Sport Seats.

everything else, including NAV, is an easy retrofit.

The five, hands down best, most cost effective options for the enthusiast in a 997S:

Thicker steering wheel
Full leather
Sport Chrono
Sport seats (non-adaptive)
Bose

For the enthusiast going to the track, wanting the new chassis and comfort over a GT3, but near GT3 performance, add in these no cost options:

Sport Suspension (removes PASM, -20mm, removes Active Brake Differential in favor or a *proper* LSD)
Sunroof delete (structural integrity)

Note that the Sport Suspension is not yet available in the US, and will likely just be -10, not ROW -20.

not available in UK until build dates March 2005 - so i'm told by OPC dealer.
......and i made him check with the factory.
It may well be on the configurator .....it is definitely on the UK price list for 997 precision 911.....but....it AIN'T available yet to ACTUALLY order.
Shame - 'cos i love that sound.
Anyway...has anyone actually rec'd / taken delivery of a 997 C2S WITH sports exhaust.???

That is five... I added - Midnight Blue as the exterior color, Sand Beige interior with blue stitching, blue dials, exterior color painted back seats, color crest on wheels, crest on seats, Bose Sound system, and blue leather bordered sand beige floor mats

Well... I stopped by the dealer yesterday afternoon... seems that the sales folks at the dealers do not have the same information we get from the configurator out on the web.

They had more color options, but a few items that did not show in their lists (and I was with the sales guy looking at the computer screen).

Short Shift is not showing, stitching is not showing, three different prices for full leather depending on the seats, sport muffler not showing... .

I gave him the description of the car I wanted (see above) and he was going to check with Atlanta on availability of those options. Delivery date is out on February-March.

Got confirmation from the sales guy (great sales guy by the way, Heiner Blumenberg from Porsche of Orlando). Most of the stuff is still not available... even the sand beige interior is just coming out.

On hold or not available until further notice - Stitching, Sport/Short Shift, Blue Dials, Sport Exhaust, Painted seat backs in the Adaptive Sport Seats,...

Porsche is busy getting out the new cars and will not be able to provide these options until further notice. Good, that way I am obligated to wait and let the first year production run be out and tested. :-/

I would have to second Moogle's list. But, if it's an S, metallic paint would replace PASM (until satellite radio is available, that is. )

Bose
Full Leather
PASM
Sport Chrono
Adaptive Sport Seats

Talking

the uk car comes with full leather and i took the -20mm (with LSD) as a no cost option.

other than this the only bits I felt worth adding were:

i) Standard Sports seats (@ £277 much cheaper than the adaptive ones)
ii) Metallic Paint
iii) Sat Nav
iv) Phone
v) Cruise (handy for driving to the south of France from the UK)

The uk car has a sound pack and PSM as standard, xenon lights etc so doesnt need much more. Given the Sat nav is now a single dvd in the bonnet it leaves the single disk slot available for cd's.

was talked out of the sports chrono as pretty much all uk circuits go ballistic if you time your laps on a track day - as does the nurburgring.

Sport exhaust was supposed to be available on 10/4, but I am now told it will be available to order on 12/4. This is definetly a must have and I delayed my order for it.

Navigation

Heated seats - I live in Minnesota

Sport Chrono

Sport Design Wheels

Stock seats - not electric. I had more room with out the electric seats. I am 6'5".

Now, if I could just get a aero kit.
