I'm considering a 997S but am stumped on the color. The configurator doesn't do justice to a pic of a real car.

Atlas Grey Metallic
Basalt Black
Seal Grey
Arctic Silver

I like red and yellow but they attract too much attention for me.

Atlas Gray Metallic (no picture found yet) - Darker than Seal, lighter than Basalt, with a distictly blue cast. A darkish blue charcoal color

Seal Gray is my choice!

 

out of the 4 conservative colours:

Black is definitely the best, that or atlas.

and from out of guards red/speed yellow

definitely guards red. loud but not yellow loud.

 

One thing you should know about the Atlas Grey is that there is a definite blue-purple tinge to it. More purple than blue in fact. FYI.

I'm really leaning towards Atlas Grey/Black Full Leather.

I agree as well that it looks stunning. Plus it's a little different.

 

black is so hard to take care of. i have a black car now - never again.

 

been there sure is tempting but to much work .. Always had black cars .. last time got silver and did the invisable bra thing ... it was like a whole new world .

 

As I've read elsewhere there are only 3 classic color choices for a 911 Carrera:

1.) Black
2.) Noir
3.) Schwartz

 

Atlas is indeed a stunning color.....

Midnight looks lighter than lapis in the flesh

lapis looks like cobalt !

I am told that Guards Red won't be available until November build, for some reason.

 

i'd be really interested to see a quality pic of a 997 C2S in GT Silver please....
that's what i chose for my Nov build car and yet - i've only ever seen it on the 996 anniversary....so if anyone can upload one for me please i#d be grateful
