Default TPMS withdrawn from UK market

Got a call today from my OPC and have been told that the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System has been withdrawn from the options list due to problems with the system and therefore will not be available in the near future. Has anyone else been told this?

A similar system was offered on the 928S4, but was dropped after a couple of years. I don't think it was known for reliability

I have it on my Cayenne Turbo. It worked flawlessly...

I never thought it would be a big deal, but it was nice, especially with no spare...
