Unhappy Sport Suspension available???

Talking with a dealer at the present time about an order for a C2 and when I asked about the Sport Suspension (030) I was told that they only have the PASM available. The PCNA web site shows both suspensions. In fact they have a cool feature where it shows the ride height of the car from stock to PASM to Sport (20mm reduction) graphically.

I also posted this question on Porsche Pete's Boxster Board as I currently own a Boxster and those on the board are always helpful. The response at this time is that while Porsche has the Sport Suspension it is currently a ROW option and unavailable for the US market.

I would much prefer Sport to added vehicle electronics so am hoping that someone here might have added information.

I'm working on an answer. Several emails have been sent back to the mothership trying to get commitment on availability.

Either Excellence or Pano stated that when it comes to the US, it will be the same ride height as PASM (-10), rather than -20. Whaterver the case, it's the setup I want.

I should have some sort of answer later today.

Thanks Jeff.

I suspected that ride height might be the issue. I know the 030 ROW is lower than what we get here on the 986 and 996. I sure wish we could get the 20mm reduction. I'll watch for your reply.
