Saw the 997s on Saturday. Sweet. I forgot to ask a question about something I can't figure out - what is included in the $1,520 leather interior option? I understand what the $3,315 leather option includes, but I can't figure out the other. Thanks very much.

ok, so if you order full leather - that includes the leather seats. if you do not order full leather, the seats alone cost $1520. so what kind of seat do you get standard in the car, what is it made out of?

it sounds like the full leather, which is really a $1600 "upgrade" since it includes the seats, is worth it.

Thanks MJones. Also just called the dealer to confirm. The $3,315 option aka "full leather" includes upgrading the seats to all leather and the door sills, dash, center portion of console, etc. The $1,520 option is only upgrading the seats to leather and this option is included within the $3,315 option.

I can't say I noticed the leather upgrade in the seats, but I sure did notice the full leather on the dash, console, and doors. Too bad you can't get this upgraded without upgrading the seats . . . On that note, the standard seats have a much better bolster than the std. 996.
