Leaking windshield washer fluid - 997.2
Pretty sure it is the pump for the headlights. This happened on an Audi of mine too. Ordered a replacement off of Suncoast. Used the pelican video to access.
Get to the pump. Part is wrong, think it is specific to 997.1. The 997.2 pump part number is 997 624 502 00. It was like $112 from the dealer. Prob better deals to be had online. Also replacing the grommet, and I think that is $17. Don't have a part number yet for that.
My security lug nut has 15 splines and was available on Amazon. (2009 C4S with 19" wheels). It's got a little 51 printed on it. The wheel guides from Suncoast really helped to get the wheel back into place while the vehicle was jacked. The steering wheel can be straight for this whole process, you don't need to turn it. I also got some Porsche specific jack pads from Amazon, red with the little oval on top that were inexpensive and work awesome. They kinda screw in place and stick to the car 10/10 product.
Lastly you don't need a heat gun to remove the hose, just remove the pump from the tank and once it is separate from the tank twist the hose off. Not hard.
Two hours and car is still not fixed but I think next time will be much faster.
Pretty sure the windshield side is not the culprit because the intake for that is lower than the headlight intake and it had leaked to that level.
If anyone has done this project please chime in with any advice before I disassemble the car again... thanks!
I don't understand... did you buy and install the correct pump? There are two pumps... the one forward, mounted horizontally in the tank for headlights, and the other mounted vertically for windshield. Which pump did you replace? If you did and still have a leak, your hose may have popped off the squirt nozzle. I simple fix with a small zip tie.
Another potential source of a leak is the low-level sensor... easily fixed by just pulling it out and applying a tiny ring of silicone.

There is another hose attached lower on the tank on the opposite, far side, of the tank, but there is no pump there. That connection looked fine and was not leaking.
I did not fully remove the tank from the car so maybe I am missing something here?
Maybe I have the pump purpose mixed up. But the one leaking for me, was the vertically mounted one. You can just follow the hoses and see where they go. I replaced both because they were so cheap and my car is getting old.
