I have a black coupe, red calipers, red calipers, and black 18" Apex SM-10s. I am considering having the wheels powder coated a lighter color. Would love to see your custom color choices.
If you want the splash of red on the calipers to stand out more, I'd go with a gunmetal or anthracite color. That would give you contrast from the black body, but will also be dark enough to really make the calipers stand out and pop. If you want the wheels to be the focus, then you can never go wrong with platinum or silver for sure.
I got mine powder coated very reasonable @$600 i like how mine turned out in bronze. It being a black car there’s only a few option as I see it.
Note! My caps are plastic, do not attempt to coat them they’ll melt or at the very least warp. I got mine Colour matched and painted. Sorry it’s in the shade, all I could find

Makes sense! Thank you.

The bronze looks really good. A very subtle contrast... classy.

That white gold on that style is amazing. Pure motorsports.
I changed the color on my wheels from all black to "smoke grey" with a black background. I really like the contrast. With a black car, maybe a light charcoal grey might give you some pop. I'm a fan of the bronze, as well. While these colors are darker than a stock silver, they add some richness, while still allowing you to see the detail of the wheel design.

Very stylish. The spokes appear to be a perfect match to the Porsche decal.
[QUOTE=Run_Amok;20279304]There is a shop in Austin that quoted me $275 / wheel including dismounting, mounting, and balancing. For a standard color. Seems fair.[/QUOTE
Agreed that the price seems fair, given the wheel/dismount and mount and balance.
