I’m working on a 997.2 Turbo S.

Originally the hydraulic actuators were leaking so we shipped them out, got them rebuilt and installed them, no big deal.


But now after having bled the system and added the correct amount of oil, now the top won’t open all the way.

one press of the switch brings the top 1/2 way, then the button must be pressed again and it continues its journey down. However, the hook remains in “position A” (see pictures) and hits the deck.

Anyone experience this?

In this pic, you can see the hook extending correctly.

When the top retracts, that same hook will contact this piece and not allow the top find its resting place.
