I've had a blast in this forum. I've loved my 997.2 but and I've invested so much in it, getting it all sorted and looking so good I always turn back for a look at it...but I'm keen to try something else. Older. Manual.
But where to sell? It's a crazy market out there with so many options.Does anyone have any wisdom to share?
I've quickly listed on Rennlist and PCA Mart but I feel like maybe I should just give in and list on BaT.

You may chuckle but just sold my 997.2 manual on FB Marketplace....Lots of interest for the car and sold quickly.
I too had deleted my account a few years back, so created a quick and dirty version just for marketplace. No profile pic, no liking pages and none of the other FB features!

Oh my, and it still worked?!! Kudos!
Did you consider any other marketplaces before you posted it?
997.2 coupes averaging $67,760 over 15 sales and $62,371 over 45 sales in 2023. Mostly BAT sales but I track as many sites as I can. DM me if you want the sale details, includes MSRP and other details.
I would list my car here and on PCA Mart to start.
I sold a MK7 GTI, a $20k car back in 2020 and listed it on Cars.com, FB Marketplace and Craigslist.
FB marketplace was full of dealers and vape juice boyz trying to trade me a civic with a healthy lowball, Cars.com was full of long distance folks that kept stringing me along and asking me mind numbing questions and Craigslist was one contact who came with his son, they bought it 24 hours later.

Thanks, I listed here but I just got immediate requests to sell parts like the steering wheel, and especially the Fuchs! It seems we're all looking for upgrade items!
Yes, agree PCA Mart and Rennlist. Exactly what I've done so far, but I can't help but hear the crowds over there at that BaT tent...what's going on?!! It feels like that. So I think I'll list there and take my chances. I have nothing to hide. I'm selling a car I've done everything I can to sort out. Just need to find that other person who appreciates that as much as I do.
I would prefer to avoid the crowd and sell direct to someone but I guess that is proving a bit harder to find with so many auction sites stirring everyone up with the GT cars and PTS colors.

Probably harder to sell because there are lots of PDK 997.2 cars on the market and many buyers want Manual Transmission.
I have had luck over the years with RL Marketplace but have never owned an Automatic.
I would try Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace. Doesn't hurt to try. I just sold my wifes Mercedes sedan on Facebook Marketplace for top dollar.
Looks like a great example with some tasteful mods. I actually think your asking price in the classified section seems light given all the work you've done, but that could just be me.
The documentation that you're supplying is also excellent and clearly shows that the car has been well looked after. I'd be patient. As you said, you just have to find
"that" buyer who appreciates that car as much as you do. And for sure, he/she is out there. GLWS.
List it here your intended demographic is here and theres no selling fees. They always sell. I have a white .2 also good luck with sale it looks awesome.

Your car looks really great. It's rare to see one with a ride height dialed in so well. It really makes a big difference - and makes the car overall and the modern Fuchs style wheels look even better.
Seems like this car should sell quickly - especially as we're entering the prime-time of the year to enjoy sports cars.
