Default Coolant leak

Hello,
Two weeks amont, i stopped my car in a very nice place and when i did it, coolant flowed up by the cap of the expension tank. 😔

I Said the coolant flowed by the expension tank because i opened the rear lid.

My car has been driven to a center porsche. Firstly they phoned me to precise the front radiator has a Little leak.
Yesterday i received their conclusion:

The flow of the coolant by the cap of the expension tank has been done by an over presssure in coolant system. This over pressure eppear because by a valve has been block by some air introducteur in the coolant system by the leak of the radiator.

I asked them if they were sure of them and in this case they can make the repair.✌️

I arrive at home and how i’m curious and interresting by mecanics i search in the PET the system coolant to look at the valve.
I only found an object that seems a valve in the next picture. This is the pièce that hasn’t a number near the piece 17.

What do you think about that?

Thanks a lot.

There is a pressure relief valve right behind the coolant cap on top of the expansion tank. You can stand the metal clip up (like in the pic) to burp the system.
Also, when the system is hot, you'll see the valve raise.

OK, keep us posted. That is the only valve that I know of in the coolant system.

Not positive with the Turbo, but don't think the system has add'l valves.
Most videos on Youtube discuss coolant pipe pinning, but have never seen anything about add'l valves.
Let's see what your shop says. Maybe they're just saying that an air pocket created a blockage that stopped coolant circulation and this an overheating scenario.

sounds like a stuck thermostat ( which is a valve).
