Thanks, Arrow Blue, you can see the color code, 305, written on the front tub below the crash bar.

Replaced my Coolant Expansion Tank Cap. Was experiencing the same low coolant reading described in this thread:
https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...looks-low.html

Replaced my Cabin Air Filter. Sure didn't look like it needed replacing, but at that point I'd already removed the old one, so the new one was going in.

Did a couple quick installs on my new 997.2.
1. Replaced gas cap that had a broken tether.
2. Installed Auto Headlight mod from 997research.com

The auto headlight mod was pretty simple and is a nice bit of modern tech that the car benefits from. Haven't even had it a week and I was already sick of listening to the car yell at me every time I forgot to turn the lights off.

I got half way through chaniging the door lock mechanism and realised I didnt have a triple sqare socket (I had also left my spline behind, which I am still unsure if they ARE the same, so I ordered a set of Triple square !), hopefully success at the coming weekend ...

Finally completed some service work on my 05 C2S. I’m almost at 80k miles.

Parts:
plugs/coils
waterpump/thermo/coolant
coolant valve for tranny
tip tranny fluid/filter
belt and tensioner, pulleys
maf

Not a terribly difficult job, just takes time, patience and the right tools.

Sorry I missed this! Hadn't subbed to this thread so just now seeing it. After new plugs, coils, full PDK service, and coolant flush/fill we took a nice 1/2 day trip up to the foothills. Drove some wonderful roads and finished the day out with dinner. Also saw another 997 coming down the mountain while we were climbing it!
The car has, IMO, some tasteful mods: a Sharkwerks center muffler delete x pipe, IPD plenum, Wevo SS engine mounts, Techart shift paddles, Airplay module, GT2 replica wheels (based on feedback here), and so far we're enjoying it. Still getting used to the PDK, especially 1st gear from a stop, I think it just wants to GO! I'm so used to my Tundra this takes some getting used to. I also think the x pipe likes WOT not creeping from a stop sign
Should've stopped at an overlook for a glamour shot but was having too much fun driving.
Ticked over 95k on the way home.

In the spirit of this thread, I doubt you did this in a day. This deserves its own thread for those that are considering this solution and to share the back story.
