Hello ! I searched but didn't find an answer so I'm asking if anyone knows if seats out of a 981 will plug into a 997.2 and work without repinning or rewiring features ?? I have rare manual seats with heating and cooling and found a set of similar 981 seats...

If they're manual versions with only the power recline, yes they should as the main power and ground connections are the same. I've installed both 997 and 991 seats into 928s and the connection boxes are the same. Since 928s don't have airbags, I'm not sure about that part though as I just connected power and ground into the main connector to make the recline work.

If you had full power and memory seats it gets a lot more complicated.
