Default Coolant hose to AOS Connector Question

Was installing a Rauch and Spiegel hose connector and unfortunately I dropped the stainless steel bolt. It’s lying under the A/C compressor and even with an endoscope and a magnet I can’t

retrieve it. I don’t want to remove the compressor as it was a pain in the *** to put back in place.

Does anyone know the thread type and size on this bolt? It would simpler just to replace it and let the “lost” bolt rattle out.

Thanks

I don't know the answer to your question on bolt size. However, over the last couple of weeks I've had my compressor out twice. While the back bolt is fiddly to get in and out, the overall job isn't too bad. Good luck however you proceed.

That's a nice upgraded part. I broke the original plasitc one when working on my wife's car over christmas and made it work without it, but then ordered that same new piece with the metal instead of plastic and will install it next time I'm in there. Bought one for my car too, since it will also likely break there.
