the 4/4S are the same part. My spring does not move. 1/4 inch is so small it can be up to car specifics etc. I redid the preload on all corners few months ago. Tightened collar till it no longer moves and then went 4mm more.

I know I just need to tear into this but without parts it’s pointless so for now I’m asking questions

that looks like the rear in that photo.. mount looks different than my front anyway

no worries. I had a noise a few months ago.. that’s why I adjusted the preload. It came from the installer with the spring loose lol

the top brackets look different… looks like thats the rear in that photo

Is it the bearing, spring seat/or a combo of just not enough preload on the seat.. ? Again, once I get parts I’ll tear it apart

these are the front 💯. The two are not interchangeable, bcuz the top hats are angled to fit the front

I just did some comparison by looking at other similar kits for AWD. They look the same as mine…yours look different for some reason (different camber plates?). They have the horseshoe looking piece at the top of the strut similar to the Bilstein posted before. This is to correct the angle of the strut.
