Default 997.2 C2 suspension refresh

Looking for some advice
I will be changing out the struts and shocks for all 4 corners with Bilstein B12 kit
Question: what additional hardware will I require?
Bump stops are included in B8s
New front strut mount will be ordered

Are the rears top mounts reusable?

Do i need anything else?

TIA

All of my suggestions will be based that none of this has been done for a 12-15 year old car.

I would plan to replace the bump stops and bellows as they are not expensive. Look at Lemforder brand for the front top mounts. They are inexpensive and make the part for Porsche. Also change the front strut top mount bearings at the same time.

The rear top mounts are pretty expensive from Porsche and the other options available are from brands I don’t trust. I would reuse these if they look good.

Also look at lemforder for the sway bar end links too. Lastly, check out your tie rods . Since you need to align the car anyway, depending on condition, it would be ideal to replace at this point.

Thanks for your suggestion. I bought the front strut mount kit and the Bilstein B8s come with the bump stops. agree with the rear mounts being expensive. I purchased the PowerFlex rear top mount insulator replacements which can be swapped out instead of buying new rear mounts

Before you disassemble everything, get under the car with a bright light and a small pry bar and inspect all the original rubber bushings in the suspension arms. Many of mine were cracked and worn, with excess lateral free play that no longer provided a stable foundation for the alignment under load (this after only 34k miles on an 2012 997.2). Replacing bushings varies in cost and complexity depending location. Sometimes its cheaper to replace the arm in question than pay the labor fee to replace just the bushing. For example, the four rear upper control arms ("dogbones") have a superseding part number that's universal for all 997s, including the GT3RS4.0, so I would replace with that OEM part if those bushings are shot) Also, these cars are very sensitive to changes in rear toe angle, so an aftermarket locking kit can be helpful there. Tarett and Elephant Racing products can be helpful here and their websites explain much more. I recently replaced most of the arms and bushings in my car and the difference is remarkable (even though I kept my original struts and upper mounts).
