Question Horn on 997.1

Hi all,

First post here. I have an issue with my aftermarket steering wheel in my 997.1 (2005, CS2, manual). I had the original sport wheel (last picture) and have installed an aftermarket 991 steering wheel (3rdd picture). No airbag error but my horn doesn't work. There is some flex (to activate the horn) but no signal. In other cars there is some metal plate that closes the circuit when pressed, but not on either of these wheels.
Does anyone know or have a suggestion on what to try to have it work?
I also notice that the original steering wheel has a third connector (black) that surrounds the airbag (1st picture) - I am guessing this is for the horn (?) but the new one (2nd picture) does not have that connector.

Thank you for all possible input!

Imho it must be programmed as a multifunction steering wheel (even if it is not). Can be done with a durametric (Module/Gateway/Coding/Multi-function Steering Wheel)

Thank you. Do you know if it is enough to buy the "Enthusiast Kit" or do I need the Professional kit"? It is not that clear on their website...

Can’t help you in your horn needs but I don’t suppose you would sell the airbag trim of the oem wheel?

Only the Durametric Pro can code modules, not the Enthusiast version.
