I've been sitting on a set of perfect red 997.2 LED tail lights.

Seeing that they're creeping up in cost like everything else annoyingly, have been wondering if anyone prefers the red to the all clear look on their cars?

I used to hate the all clear yet somehow recently somehow started wanting a set on my car.

So TL;DR - would anyone consider trading tail lights?

Both look good but the clear would look even better if they were smoked.

 

Personally I prefer red...

 

I like smoked then all red then stock. Don't like clear.

 

I prefer red, not a fan of the clear.

To me, the clear is trying too hard.

remember when Lexus had all clear taillights on one of their entry level models?

 

I just love the original red with white slit in the middle... classic.. to my eyes

Have a set of lamin-x smoked tint film I may try out- but maybe too "murdered" on my BBM with tinted glass and black wheels...

 

Glad to be different, I wouldn't swap mine for red and much prefer the clear. Looking forward to being more exclusive (Which is I feel is a long way from a RICER )

 

Both are nice, usually comes down to personal preference I suppose. I lean towards the clear option, as I have too much red as the car is GR. Not my photo attached, just for reference. I also wished we have amber tail turn signals than the red flashing, but I may asking for too much, if I ever decide to swap these out...

 

On a red car I'd have stock red, and actually think red on the 997 looks terrific. I love the look of this car with clear too, but it would look more subtle with the red lights I think. I also love the wheels, very Ruf
