Default Posrche 911 Coupe - Tires

Replacing my stock 18" rims/tires with 19" rims/tires. Already got the rims, but looking for suggestions in terms tire size/brand for the best fit/look/summer performance.

?

TIA

OP, Try searching, just go to Google and type “997 Tires Rennlist”.

Also you can go to Tirerack and YouTube, Tyre Reviews is a good channel.

Or just buy the Michelin’s.

We need to know what wheel specs you have, width and offset of front and back to help.

If 11” wide in back you are looking for a 295/305, if 12” a 305/315/325 would be good, your choice.

IMO there is no real reason to overtire your car for the street.

I have more fun with my 18” setup in 235/285 than I did with my lead weight 19” 235/305 setup.

You can run lots of tire sizes with narrowbody, as long is width and offset is good.

I ran a 235/305 19” setup, 8.5 et45 up front and 11” et52 in the rear on mine and have seen lots of folks run a 245/255 and 325 rears on a narrowbody car.

Here is my 19” 235/305 setup, so glad I went back to 18’s though.

I am 18" wheel lover due to amount of pot holes and road issues experienced in Ontario since 2020... Additionally with stiffer suspension (Feal Coilovers) 19s just don't feel good.

As already mentioned 235/295 or 305 is the ticket for most.

It's not actually - I'm running 255s and 325s on my c2s with no issues and there's actually room to be wider.

All comes down to widths and offsets of the wheels.

What are the widths and offsets of the wheels you've bought?
